The Keurig K575 has been around for a while, but it’s still one of the best-selling brewers on Amazon.

So, what is it that makes this brewer so good? Let’s take a look and find out!

In this Keurig K575 review, I will be going over features of the machine, pros and cons as well as my personal experience with using one in my home.

The Keurig K575 Coffee Maker, K Cup Pod Coffee Brewer

The Keurig K575 coffee maker is a large-capacity home brewing system. It brews an entire carafe of coffee at once, and can also be used to make tea, hot cocoa and other specialty drinks.

The machine has five different cup sizes available (four Keurig k cups & one mug), so you are sure to find the perfect drink for any occasion!

In addition – it features two water reservoirs: one for use with ground coffee beans or loose leaf tea; the other exclusively designed for single serve Keurig k cups.

This allows users to customize their beverage without having to purchase separate machines which are often more expensive than this already reasonably priced kitchen appliance.

It’s compact enough that it doesn’t take up a lot of counter space, and it’s sturdy construction ensures that it won’t break if you bump into it.

The Keurig K575 is also designed with a child safety lock to keep little fingers out of trouble.

Features

The K575 features an impressive brewing speed that will please even the most impatient tea drinker.

This model brews coffee much faster than other Keurig models – I’m talking less than 30 seconds from start to finish in some cases!

You’ll never have to wait around again while it’s brewing if you don’t want to…I know that my mornings are pretty busy sometimes so this was very important for me as well.

Another thing worth mentioning is how big the reservoir is on this K575 model – I think it’s a whopping 48oz of hot coffee waiting for you to drink or put in the fridge.

It also has an auto-off feature and can be programmed so that it will start brewing at your desired time.

This is especially helpful if you want freshly brewed coffee when you wake up on those cold winter mornings without having to get out of bed…just program the K575, hit snooze a couple times, get dressed and enjoy!

Size

A bit smaller than the K55 model but still able to brew up 12 cups of coffee at once.

Weight

This can only be described as light – easily movable and perfect for anyone with limited space in their kitchen.

I also like that there is no cord or electrical plug so you don’t have anything sticking out from your countertop either!

Warranty Coverage

Keurig offers a one-year warranty on all brewers, which covers any defects arising during normal use.

There are other models available if you’re looking for something even more sturdy (such as the K560) but they will cost significantly more money…for me personally, this was everything I needed.

Controls

Every K-Cup pod brews a perfect cup of coffee, tea, hot cocoa or iced beverage in under a minute—and now every K-Carafe packs the power to deliver up to 12 cups of coffee.

All the controls are right on top of the machine which makes it very easy to adjust settings and brew a cup at your leisure.

Adjustable Temperature Control

Provides hot coffee all year round—even when using ground coffee beans or loose leaf tea.

You can also select between bold and regular flavor profiles with this brewer…you’re sure to get just what you want every time!

Filtration System

The water that fills the K575’s reservoirs is filtered – it will never taste like plastic.

Child Lock Safety Feature

If you have little ones who like to help out in the kitchen, this feature ensures they won’t be able to make any unwanted changes and accidentally get hurt!

Programmable Clock

This coffee maker can easily be programmed so that it starts brewing at your desired time of day.

This makes mornings a lot easier for me…I just set mine before I go to bed and don’t worry about waking up too early on those cold winter days because my coffee is already waiting for me when I need it most!

It also has an auto-off feature which comes with its own benefits such as energy savings if you forget to turn it off.

Design

Design wise, the Keurig K575 is sleek and sophisticated.

There’s a black panel with bright blue backlighting to help you see what coffee choices are available at any given time.

The keying pad for selecting options like strength of coffee can be found on this same panel.

For those who want more control over their brews, there are eight customizable settings that allow users to program in their own personal preferences when it comes to brewing temperature or amount of water used per cup (depending on your desired flavor).

For instance, if you’re looking for a strong brew but don’t need too much water in order to achieve it, then choosing “strong” as your setting will produce two cups worth of brewed coffee using just one K cup pod.

The water reservoir is designed to hold up to 60 ounces of water, but you’ll need a Keurig coffee filter in order for your machine to work properly.

The Keurig K575 also has an auto shut-off feature that will turn the device off after two hours of sleep mode or eight hours of idle time when the unit is powered on.

This way there’s no need worry about leaving it running and wasting energy while you’re not home.

In terms of size, this model would be best suited for large families who want something capable enough to brew multiple cups without taking up too much space on their countertop–or someone with limited kitchen real estate who doesn’t have room for those giant machines from yesteryear.

For those who want to brew a single cup but don’t need the entire pot Keurig coffee filters are also available in singles, so you can still enjoy your favorite flavors without having to go through an extra step of grinding beans and loading them into another machine just for one cup.

Performance

The K575 is the fastest model on a per-cup basis, and has an attractive price point to match.

It brews coffee in under two minutes so it’s ready as soon as you are.

If you want hot water for tea or for any other drink that requires scalding temperatures then this machine can do that too: just add your favorite flavor of K cup pod to make iced coffee, lemonade or anything else!

The K575 also offers three temperature settings (low/medium/high) which allows buyers with different preferences some flexibility when deciding between models.

A powerful thermal carafe keeps up to 12 cups of freshly brewed coffee piping hot without being scorching thanks to its stainless steel construction and vacuum insulation.

It has a sleek, modern design and is available in three colors: black-on-black, silver, or red on the K575RS model.

If you’re looking for an affordable machine with surprisingly high quality features then this could be the one for you!

The K575 is also compatible with new K cup pods that allow users to brew coffee from popular brands like Dunkin’ Donuts®, Seattle’s Best® Roast Company and more than 100 other varieties of each K cup pod including Green Mountain Coffee—all are made without genetically modified ingredients (GMO).

With its generous 12 cup capacity and programmable settings it makes brewing a fresh pot of coffee convenient by giving tea drinkers another hot water option because K cups are also dishwasher safe.

Brew Sizes

Keurig K575 comes equipped with the most brewing finishes including travel mugs and full carafes.

The machine automatically scans which serving you are brewing in order to produce the correct amount.

Additionally, there is a size for every need- 4 ounces, 6 ounces, 8 ounces, 10 ounces or 12oz.

It also includes individual pod options such as K Cup pods that can be used to fill large thermoses without spilling and overflowing; additionally these cups come in a variety of sizes: 4 oz. 6 oz., 8 oz., 10 oz., and 12 oz.

Cleaning & Maintenance

Like any other coffee maker, the Keurig K575 is a bit of a hassle to clean and maintain.

If you were hoping that this machine would be easier than others then I’m sorry – they all have their drawbacks 🙂

The good news is that it’s not too difficult at all! The descaling cycle does most of the work for you so just follow those instructions when necessary.

Other than that, make sure to empty out your reservoir regularly (it will remind you) and wipe down the exterior with warm water or soap every once in awhile.

That’s really about it…

Who is This For?

The Keurig K575 coffee maker is perfect for people who love coffee but don’t have a lot of time to enjoy it.

It’s also great if you want a customized drink that tastes just how you like it every time – I know my daughter gets frustrated when she can’t make the exact same thing as me!

This coffee maker is good for anyone with limited counter space or storage because there are not many pieces and parts involved in its use (just a regular mug).

I really think that anyone would be able to appreciate what this brewer has to offer…it doesn’t matter whether they’re an avid coffee lover or someone who drinks other beverages more often than not.

This machine will handle any size batch of hot water without spilling so no need to

Pros

  • Brews quickly -Easy cleaning process thanks to descaling cycle
  • Swivel Handle makes serving easy
  • Easy clean up process (especially with swivel handle)
  • You can choose from different sizes – perfect if you need just one cup or more than 12 cups all at once. This is great for people like me who drink tea too 🙂
  • The machine is well priced for what you get. It’s sturdy construction ensures that the brewer will last for many years; making it an investment worth considering if your budget is tight.

Cons

  • Noisy when brewing…can be off putting some people
  • On rare occasion, some Keurig K Cup users find that their beverages don’t taste as good when brewed on this machine – but this seems to be due mostly to individual preference rather than any design flaw with the product itself. If a user prefers stronger coffee or tea flavor, they may find Keurig k cups made on the Keurig K575 to be less satisfying because they brewed at a lower temperature.
  • The reservoir can be difficult to fill when it is placed under the machine and not on top of it for some people

The sleek aesthetic will make this machine stand out in your kitchen but it won’t break your bank account either!
